Portrayed by Siddharth, Squadron Leader Ajay Ahuja served as the Flight Commander of the Golden Arrows during the Kargil War.
On May 27, 1999, while flying a MiG-21 on a mission to locate a fellow pilot, his aircraft was hit by a surface-to-air missile. After ejecting safely, he was captured and later killed behind enemy lines.
He was posthumously awarded the Vir Chakra for his bravery, and his sacrifice remains one of the defining moments of the Kargil War.
Wing Commander BS "Tony" Dhanoa
Jimmy Shergill plays Wing Commander Birender Singh "Tony" Dhanoa, who commanded No. 17 Squadron during the conflict.
Under his leadership, the squadron conducted critical reconnaissance and strike missions over strategic locations including Tiger Hill and Tololing.
His wartime leadership earned him the Yudh Seva Medal and Vayu Sena Medal. He later became the Chief of the Air Staff in 2016 and retired as Air Chief Marshal in 2019.
Flying Officer Rajpal Singh Dhaliwal
Abhay Verma portrays Flying Officer Rajpal Singh Dhaliwal, popularly known by the call sign "Dhali."
Despite limited experience in night flying, Dhaliwal volunteered for dangerous nighttime operations and successfully completed four combat missions during Operation Safed Sagar.
His courage earned him the Vayu Sena Medal. He later served with the elite Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team before losing his life in an aircraft accident in 2009.
Flying Officer CH Bal Reddy
Played by Mihir Ahuja, Flying Officer CH Bal Reddy, affectionately known as "Baldy," initially handled operational readiness duties before joining frontline operations in Srinagar.
He was among the officers entrusted with identifying Squadron Leader Ajay Ahuja after his body was returned following the mission, making him an important figure in one of the war's most emotional chapters.
Flight Lieutenant Jitendra "Sangy" Sangwan
