Prabhas’ ‘Spirit’ Adds Manoj Rishie and Mahadhan to Direction Team as Production Begins

Prabhas’s highly anticipated film ‘Spirit’, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, has officially begun production with a grand muhurat puja ceremony. The event saw prominent Telugu cinema personalities in attendance, including Chiranjeevi, who gave the first clap, symbolising the formal start of filming.

A key highlight from the launch is the addition of Manoj Rishie, son of acclaimed filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas, and Mahadhan, son of mass star Ravi Teja, to the direction team. Both will assist Vanga throughout the making of Spirit, marking the entry of the next generation of Telugu film talent into major creative roles.

Manoj Rishie is already familiar with direction, having previously worked under Gowtam Tinnanuri on Vijay Deverakonda’s film Kingdom. His involvement in Spirit further expands his growing portfolio within Tollywood’s directorial space.

For Mahadhan, who recently turned 18, Spirit serves as his official entry into the film industry. Beginning his career as an assistant director is viewed as a significant step, especially given the film’s high profile and the expertise of its core team.

The puja ceremony was also attended by lead actress Triptii Dimri, along with producer Bhushan Kumar, who is backing the film alongside Pranay Reddy Vanga, Krishan Kumar, and Prabhakar Reddy Vanga.

The film features an impressive ensemble cast, including Prakash Raj, Kanchana, and Vivek Oberoi in key supporting roles. With Prabhas in the lead and Vanga overseeing direction, scriptwriting, and editing, Spirit is positioned as one of Tollywood’s most ambitious upcoming projects.

The technical team includes Raj Thota as cinematographer, Suresh Selvarajan as production designer, and Supreme Sundar as action choreographer. The film also reunites Vanga with composer Harshavardhan Rameshwar, following their collaboration on Animal.
