Prithviraj Sukumaran Likely to Join Nani-Sujeeth Action Comedy Film Bloody Romeo
Malayalam star Prithviraj Sukumaran is reportedly set to join the upcoming action-comedy film headlined by Nani and directed by Sujeeth, adding further momentum to one of Telugu cinema’s most anticipated projects.
According to industry buzz, Prithviraj will play a significant role in the film, though details about his character remain under wraps. An official announcement from the makers is still awaited. If confirmed, this will mark Prithviraj’s third collaboration with a leading Telugu star, following Salaar and Varanasi.
The Nani–Sujeeth project, reportedly titled Bloody Romeo, was formally launched with a pooja ceremony on October 2, 2025. While the makers have kept the plot tightly guarded, the film is expected to be a commercial entertainer blending high-octane action with humour.
Initially announced under a different banner, the film is now being produced by Niharika Entertainments. The theatrical release is tentatively planned for December 2026, though the final date is yet to be locked.
Director Sujeeth is riding high on the success of They Call Him OG, which emerged as one of the highest-grossing Telugu films of 2025 despite multiple delays.
Meanwhile, Nani is currently busy shooting for The Paradise and is expected to join the Sujeeth project after wrapping up that commitment. Prithviraj Sukumaran, on the other hand, continues to be engaged with multiple high-profile projects across industries.
