Rise & Fall 2: Swara Bhasker, Karan Patel Among First Four Contestants

Swara Bhasker, Karan Patel, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and political commentator Shehzad Poonawalla have been announced as the first four contestants of Rise & Fall Season 2. Hosted by former cricketer Virender Sehwag, the reality show will feature a 15-member lineup and premiere on MX Player on September 26.

A new promo introduces the four contestants and highlights the show’s central power-based format, in which participants move between the positions of Rulers and Workers. Their decisions, alliances and strategies influence their standing throughout the competition.

Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, who has previously participated in reality television, said the changing positions would require contestants to adapt and trust their instincts. Swara Bhasker described herself as someone who openly expresses her opinions and said she was curious to see how different personalities interact when power and strategy become part of the game.

Television actor Karan Patel said the show would allow viewers to see him as himself rather than through a scripted character, while highlighting the competitive aspect of the format.

Poonawalla said the theme of rising and falling resonated with his personal journey and described the show as a new challenge involving contestants with different viewpoints.

The first season concluded with Arjun Bijlani winning the title and Rs 28.10 lakh in prize money. Aarush Bhola was the first runner-up and Arbaz Patel finished second runner-up. Season 2 is produced by Banijay Asia and MX Original.
