The Symbiosis International University has officially announced the results of the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) 2025, marking a crucial milestone in the MBA admission process for thousands of aspirants across the country. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now access and download their scorecards from the official SNAP portal.
The SNAP 2025 examination was conducted in three separate sessions on December 6, 14 and 20, 2025, allowing candidates multiple opportunities to improve their performance. In line with its existing policy, Symbiosis has permitted candidates who appeared in more than one session to use their highest score for admission to management programmes offered by its constituent institutes.
Since SNAP is conducted across multiple sessions, question paper difficulty may vary slightly between attempts. To ensure fairness and maintain parity among candidates, the university follows a normalisation process before finalising results. As a result, SNAP 2025 scorecards display percentile scores instead of raw marks, allowing institutions to evaluate candidates on a common scale.
This system ensures that no candidate is disadvantaged due to variations in paper difficulty, reinforcing transparency in the admission process.
SNAP scores are accepted by a wide network of Symbiosis institutes offering MBA and specialised management programmes. These include SIBM Pune, SCMHRD, SIIB, SIMS, SIMC, SCIT, SIDTM, SIOM, SIHS, SIBM Bengaluru, SIBM Hyderabad, SIBM Nagpur, SIBM Noida, SSBF, SICSR and SSCANS, among others.
Each institute follows its own admission criteria, including programme-specific cut-offs and evaluation parameters. This means that qualifying for one institute does not automatically guarantee eligibility for another, even with the same SNAP score.
Candidates can access their SNAP 2025 scorecard by logging in to the official website using their SNAP ID and password. The scorecard displays both section-wise and overall percentiles, which will be used for shortlisting in subsequent admission rounds.
It is advisable for candidates to download and save a copy of the scorecard for future reference, as it will be required during the selection process.
With the declaration of results, Symbiosis institutes will now begin announcing their individual cut-off percentiles. Candidates meeting these cut-offs will be shortlisted for the next phase of admissions, which typically includes:
Group Exercise (GE)
Personal Interaction (PI)
Writing Ability Test (WAT)
The final merit list will be prepared based on a composite evaluation, combining the SNAP percentile with performance in the GE-PI-WAT rounds.
Since admissions are handled separately by each institute, candidates may receive shortlisting calls from multiple programmes. In such cases, aspirants must appear for the selection process of each programme individually.
Candidates are advised to regularly monitor the official websites of their preferred Symbiosis institutes for updates on cut-offs, shortlisting schedules, and interview dates. Timely preparation for GE-PI-WAT rounds can significantly improve final selection chances.
The release of SNAP 2025 results officially sets the stage for the next phase of MBA admissions, bringing aspirants one step closer to securing a seat at some of India’s most sought-after management institutions.
