Taylor Swift Cheers for Travis Kelce, Chats With Tom Cruise at Chiefs Game

Taylor Swift made her return to Arrowhead Stadium for the Kansas City Chiefs' season opener, where she was spotted enjoying a conversation with Hollywood star Tom Cruise during the game. Swift attended the match to support her husband Travis Kelce as he began his 14th NFL season.

The singer and Cruise were seen chatting during the Chiefs' clash with the Denver Broncos, just weeks after the actor attended Swift and Kelce's wedding in July. Cruise was among the high-profile guests at the couple's ceremony and was reportedly a memorable presence at the celebration.

Swift's appearance at Arrowhead was particularly notable as it was her first visit to the stadium since she and Kelce married on July 3. The match was also Kelce's first Chiefs appearance following their wedding.

Swift and Kelce began their relationship publicly in September 2023. Kelce recently described their wedding as the “best night of my life”, saying that marrying Swift exceeded anything he had imagined.

Swift's decision to attend the Chiefs game also settled speculation over whether she would appear at the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles. Her Disney+ concert film, Taylor Swift The Eras Tour | The Final Show, had received five Creative Arts Emmy nominations but failed to win in any category. The Muppet Show won Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded).

The nominations were only the second Television Academy recognition for Swift. She previously won an Emmy in 2015 for AMEX Unstaged: Taylor Swift Experience.
