Yami Gautam Celebrates ‘Dhurandhar Day’, Praises Aditya Dhar’s Dedication to the Film
The much-awaited film Dhurandhar arrived in theatres on Friday, marking an emotional milestone for the team behind one of 2025’s most ambitious releases. Celebrating the moment, actor Yami Gautam took to X to share a heartfelt message praising her husband and the film’s director, Aditya Dhar, along with the entire cast and crew.
Yami described Aditya as one of the “hardest-working and finest people,” applauding his unwavering commitment, vision and discipline throughout the making of the film. Her note highlighted the years of dedication, long hours and silent sacrifices that shaped the project.
In her post, Yami wrote:
“And it’s DHURANDHAR DAY today!!!! Some of the hardest working & gem of people that I know & proud to call them my family!!! You have given all your heart, devotion, dedication, intent, passion, sweat, blood, tears (which you never show) to this film, Aditya!!! Too many emotions running today, many hearts beating together!!! You guys are Dhurandhars in your own might. DHURANDHAR is not a parting gift of 2025 but is here to welcome 2026 for all of us across the globe.”
The makers of Dhurandhar have planned the story as a two-part cinematic franchise. The film stars Ranveer Singh, along with Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan and Sara Arjun, and released nationwide on December 5.
Yami’s heartfelt tribute reflects the anticipation and emotional energy surrounding the film’s release, as fans and industry members await the response to the first instalment of this grand project.
