Delhi Assembly Security Breach: Car Rams Barricade, Driver Arrested

In a shocking incident, a major security lapse was reported at the Delhi Legislative Assembly when a car broke through barricades and entered the premises.

The breach has raised serious concerns about security arrangements at one of the most sensitive government locations in the capital.

Car Enters High-Security Zone

According to officials, a Tata Sierra with a Uttar Pradesh registration number rammed through an iron barricade and entered the Assembly complex through Gate No. 2.

The vehicle reportedly remained inside for nearly five minutes before exiting from the same gate, despite the presence of security personnel.

Driver Leaves Bouquet Inside Speaker’s Car

During the breach, the driver approached and briefly sat inside the vehicle of Vijender Gupta. He left a bouquet inside the car before fleeing the premises.

The unusual act triggered panic among staff and security personnel, with initial fears of a potential threat.

No Threat Found, Driver Arrested

Authorities later confirmed that the bouquet left behind was harmless and did not contain any suspicious material.

The vehicle was traced, and the accused driver, identified as Sarabjeet Singh, was taken into custody. Two additional individuals have also been detained as part of the investigation.

Questions Raised Over Security Failure

The incident has sparked serious questions about how a vehicle managed to breach a highly secured area guarded by central forces.

Officials are now reviewing security protocols, entry systems, and the actions of personnel present at the time of the breach.

Investigation Underway

Authorities have launched a detailed investigation to determine how the breach occurred and whether there were any lapses in coordination or monitoring.

The roles of all individuals involved are being examined to ensure accountability.

Concerns Over VIP Security

The fact that the vehicle entered through a VIP gate and exited without immediate interception has intensified concerns about security preparedness.

Experts believe that stricter checks and improved surveillance systems are necessary to prevent such incidents in the future.
