Delhi EV Policy 2026: 100% Road Tax Waiver and Rs 1 Lakh Incentives Proposed

The Delhi government has introduced a comprehensive draft of its Electric Vehicle (EV) Policy 2026–2030, aiming to accelerate the transition toward clean and sustainable mobility. The policy outlines a wide range of incentives and regulatory measures designed to make electric vehicles more accessible and attractive for consumers.

The draft has been placed in the public domain for feedback over a period of 30 days, allowing stakeholders and citizens to contribute before final implementation.

100% Road Tax Waiver and Major Cost Benefits
