Hanuman Ansh Set for Overseas Release on September 11 After Successful India Run

Hanuman Ansh, the Hindi devotional drama inspired by the life and spiritual legacy of Neem Karoli Baba, is set to expand its journey beyond India. Following its successful theatrical run in the country, the film will now be released in international markets on September 11, 2026.

The film is written and directed by Vishal Chaturvedi and explores the life, teachings and spiritual influence of Neem Karoli Baba, popularly known as Maharajji. The overseas distribution is being handled by Hombale Films through its international distribution network.

The international release comes after the film generated significant interest during its theatrical run in India. According to figures cited by the makers, Hanuman Ansh opened with approximately Rs 10 lakh and went on to cross Rs 62 crore nett by its 28th day in theatres.

The film's continued run has been attributed to positive word of mouth and the strong connection audiences have developed with its faith-driven and spiritual story.

Despite its title, Hanuman Ansh is centred on Neem Karoli Baba and his spiritual journey rather than being a conventional film based on Lord Hanuman. The film explores the influence of Maharajji's teachings and the impact his philosophy has had on people from different backgrounds.

Neem Karoli Baba continues to hold a significant spiritual following in India and abroad. His ashram at Kainchi Dham in Uttarakhand has attracted devotees from around the world and has been associated with several prominent personalities.

Apple co-founder Steve Jobs travelled to India during the 1970s and visited Kainchi Dham. Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg has also spoken about visiting the spiritual destination during an important period of his life. Actor Julia Roberts has previously discussed the influence of Indian spirituality and Neem Karoli Baba on her personal journey.

In India, Kainchi Dham has also been visited by several well-known personalities, including cricketer Virat Kohli and actor Anushka Sharma.

With its upcoming international theatrical release, Hanuman Ansh is now preparing to take its story of faith, spirituality and Neem Karoli Baba's teachings to audiences outside India.

The film will officially release in international markets on September 11, 2026.
