Television actor Mahhi Vij has finally addressed the wave of speculation surrounding her personal life after announcing her separation from Jay Bhanushali. In her first-ever vlog following the announcement, Mahhi spoke openly and firmly, shutting down rumours related to alimony, parenting, and alleged “drama” around their split.

The couple, who were married for nearly 14 years, recently confirmed through a joint statement that they have decided to part ways. They clarified that the separation was mutual and that they would continue to remain friends and co-parent their children. However, soon after the announcement, social media was flooded with conjecture, harsh commentary, and unfounded claims—prompting Mahhi to address the narrative head-on.

In her vlog, Mahhi made it clear that the decision to separate was taken calmly and respectfully. She emphasised that there was no bitterness, conflict, or legal chaos involved. According to her, both she and Jay value peace and maturity over public spectacle, choosing dignity over confrontation while moving forward individually.

Mahhi strongly dismissed claims suggesting that she or Jay were incapable of taking care of their children post-separation. Addressing the most circulated rumour—that she received a massive alimony settlement—Mahhi categorically denied it.
