SSC CPO 2025: Slot Selection Reopened; Last Chance for Missed Candidates Before Dec 4

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has reopened the slot selection window for candidates of the Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and CAPF Exam 2025 who missed the original deadline. Aspirants can now choose their preferred exam city through the feedback module on ssc.gov.in until 11 am on December 4, 2025.

This one-time option applies only to candidates who did not use the self-slotting facility before November 21. SSC clarified that exam city allocation for these candidates will be made on a “best effort basis” depending on availability. Those who still fail to select their city will be barred from the CBT, and no admit card will be issued.

Candidates who completed slot selection earlier have already received their CPO 2025 city intimation slips. The SSC CPO exam will be conducted from December 9 to 12, 2025, to fill 5,308 vacancies across Delhi Police and CAPFs. The recruitment includes four stages — Paper 1, PST/PET, Paper 2, and the Detailed Medical Examination (DME).

In another update, SSC has released the tentative vacancy list for MTS (Non-Technical) and Havaldar posts under CBIC and CBN for the 2025 cycle. A total of 7,948 vacancies have been announced. This includes 6,078 posts for the MTS 18–25 age group, 732 posts for the 18–27 age group, and 1,138 Havaldar vacancies.
