Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and actor C Joseph Vijay gifted Ajith Kumar a miniature race car following the Le Mans Cup at Silverstone, marking another warm exchange between the two stars. Ajith responded by gifting Vijay a signed racing helmet.
Vijay had travelled to the Silverstone Racing Circuit to flag off the race and support Ajith, who was competing in the LMP3 Pro/Am category for Ajith RedAnt by Virage alongside French driver Romain Vozniak.
The miniature race car gifted by Vijay carried a personal message addressed to Ajith. He signed it with the words, “Priyamudan (With Love) Vijay to my lovely brother Ajith.” Ajith thanked Vijay and shook hands with him after receiving the gift.
Ajith then presented Vijay with a helmet bearing his own signature and a short message expressing his affection.
The exchange followed an emotional reunion between the actors at Silverstone on September 12. Vijay was seen running towards Ajith before the race and greeting him with a warm embrace. Ajith welcomed Vijay at the circuit before the event got underway.
The meeting attracted considerable attention among Tamil cinema fans, particularly because Vijay and Ajith have long been portrayed as rivals due to the intense fan competition surrounding their careers. Their interactions at Silverstone instead highlighted the personal camaraderie between the two actors away from the rivalry created by their respective fan bases.
Actor Trisha was also present at the Silverstone Racing Circuit. She was seen spending time with Vijay before leaving the venue in the same car. Her appearance came amid ongoing reports and speculation about an alleged link-up with Vijay.
Ajith has continued to balance his acting career with his passion for motorsport in recent years. He recently announced his next film, Dare Devil, which will be directed by Adhik Ravichandran. The project will also mark his wife Shalini’s debut as a producer.
