Hanuman Ansh Nears Rs 350 Crore as Team Meets Amit Shah in Delhi

The team behind Hanuman Ansh met Union Home Minister Amit Shah at his residence in New Delhi as the spiritual drama continued its strong theatrical run. The discussion focused on Indian cultural and spiritual heritage, traditions and the role cinema can play in bringing stories rooted in these themes to wider audiences. Shah also spoke about Neem Karoli Baba and appreciated the team’s efforts.

The meeting also included discussions about RamBola, an upcoming project from writer-director Vishal Chaturvedi and producer Mahaveer Jain based on the life of Goswami Tulsidas. The filmmakers shared details of the project during their interaction with Shah.

Meanwhile, Hanuman Ansh has reached Rs 347.05 crore in worldwide gross collections after 45 days in theatres, according to figures cited from trade tracker Sacnilk. The film earned Rs 13.75 crore nett in India on September 20, marking a 41% increase over its previous day’s collection. Its India nett total stands at Rs 271.88 crore, while its domestic gross is Rs 321.05 crore. Overseas earnings have contributed another Rs 26 crore.

Directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, Hanuman Ansh is inspired by the life and spiritual journey of Neem Karoli Baba. The film follows Lakshmi Narayan, a young boy who loses his mother and begins a journey across northern India in search of spiritual answers. It released in theatres on July 31 and has continued to attract audiences well into its seventh week.
