Ibrahim Ali Khan praises Kareena Kapoor in a heartfelt video message featured on Koffee With Karan Season 9, calling her the "coolest stepmother" and thanking her for always being there for him.
The episode features messages from Ibrahim and his sister Sara Ali Khan, Saif Ali Khan's children from his first marriage to actor Amrita Singh. Both siblings expressed affection for their father and Kareena, offering a glimpse into their family relationships.
Ibrahim first addressed Saif, describing him as his role model and hero. Rather than focusing only on his father's achievements, he spoke about the difficult experiences Saif has faced, including a heart attack, a thumb injury and the knife attack at his Bandra residence.
"You're my role model. My hero. But it's not who you are, it's more about what you have been through," Ibrahim said, expressing admiration for his father's resilience.
He then turned towards Kareena, thanking her for the support she has offered over the years.
"And Bebo, I want you to know you are the coolest stepmother. You've always been there. So, I want to thank you," he said.
Saif Ali Khan Credits Kareena for Strengthening Family Bonds
Saif also spoke about the relationship Kareena shares with his children from his first marriage.
The actor credited his wife for helping create a comfortable family environment, while acknowledging that maintaining such relationships requires understanding and effort from everyone involved.
"Everyone has been really wonderful and understanding. And, of course, I would credit Kareena and credit everyone because these things work both ways," Saif said.
Kareena also discussed the bond between Ibrahim and his younger half-brothers, Taimur and Jehangir. She said both children look up to their elder brother and enjoy spending time with him.
She added that Ibrahim makes a genuine effort to maintain his relationship with the younger boys.

Sara Ali Khan also sent a special video message for her father and Kareena.
She described Saif as the personification of "suave, swag and coolness" before recalling her childhood admiration for Kareena's character Poo from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001).
"The combination of Kareena Kapoor and Karan Johar is basically my childhood. Poo is my favourite character ever," Sara said.
Her message added a nostalgic touch to the episode, highlighting her long-standing admiration for Kareena.

Saif Ali Khan married Amrita Singh in 1991, and the couple separated in 2004. He later married Kareena Kapoor in October 2012.
Saif and Kareena have two sons, Taimur and Jehangir, while Sara and Ibrahim are his children from his first marriage.
