Zomato Limitless Delivery is a new feature that allows customers to order food from restaurants located up to 40 kilometres away within their city. The service aims to expand restaurant choices beyond the locations traditionally displayed based on a customer's delivery address.
The feature is currently available in Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata, Pune and Hyderabad.
Previously, Zomato primarily displayed restaurants based on their proximity to the user's location. With Limitless Delivery, customers can discover popular restaurants across a wider area, including outlets located on the other side of the city.
For instance, a customer living in Gurugram may now be able to order from a restaurant in another part of Delhi NCR, provided the outlet is available through the feature.
The launch could make it easier for customers to access popular food outlets without travelling long distances.
How Does Zomato Limitless Delivery Work?
Customers can access Limitless Delivery through two options on the Zomato app.
The first is a dedicated quick link available on the homepage under the Explore More section. Selecting it takes users to a collection of popular restaurants available through the service.
Alternatively, customers can search for their preferred restaurant directly on the app and place an order through the usual process.
According to the company, the feature is designed to provide greater flexibility and more restaurant choices, particularly for customers whose favourite outlets are located far from their homes.
It could also help popular restaurants reach a larger customer base across different parts of their cities.
Will Limitless Delivery Have Extra Charges?
While the expanded delivery range offers customers more options, some details about the service remain unclear.
Zomato has not specified whether orders placed through Limitless Delivery will involve additional delivery charges or longer waiting periods.
Delivery times and the overall experience may therefore vary depending on the restaurant's location and distance from the customer's address.
Customers may need to check the charges and estimated delivery time displayed before confirming an order.

The feature is currently available in seven Indian cities:
- Bengaluru
