SSC CPO SI Recruitment 2026: Apply for 1,871 Delhi Police, CAPF Posts

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has opened applications for the 2026 recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). The recruitment drive aims to fill 1,871 vacancies, with the online application process beginning on September 10 and ending on September 30, 2026. The last date for fee payment is October 1, while the correction window is scheduled for October 8 to 10. The examination date will be announced separately.

Candidates applying for most Sub-Inspector posts must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university. Specific educational requirements apply to the Sub-Inspector (Fire) post, including eligible science or engineering qualifications. The age limit is generally 20 to 25 years as of August 1, 2026, while certain posts, including SI (Fire) in CISF, have a higher upper-age limit.

The application fee is ₹100 for General, OBC and EWS candidates, while SC, ST and female candidates are exempt. Selection will involve Paper 1, Physical Standard/Endurance Tests, Paper 2 and a medical examination.

Applicants should complete the form through the official SSC website and carefully check the notification for post-wise eligibility, age relaxation and other requirements before submitting their applications.
