Varun Dhawan Calls Hanuman Ansh ‘Divine’, Urges Fans to Watch Film in Theatres

Varun Dhawan has shared a heartfelt reaction after watching Hanuman Ansh in theatres with his mother, calling the experience deeply moving and urging audiences to watch the spiritual film with their loved ones.

The actor shared an unsolicited video on social media following his theatre visit, making it clear that he had not been approached by the makers to promote the film. Varun said he decided to speak about Hanuman Ansh simply because of the impact the film had on him.

Describing his experience as amazing, Varun encouraged audiences to visit theatres with their parents, children and friends. He said his recommendation came entirely from a personal desire to share his experience and was not part of any promotional campaign.

Varun also spoke about his personal connection with Lord Hanuman, saying that the film offered an experience beyond what he expected. Calling Hanuman Ansh a pure and divine experience, he urged viewers to watch the film and experience its spiritual journey for themselves.

The actor concluded his message by once again encouraging audiences to take their loved ones to theatres and signed off with “Jai Sitaram”.

Hanuman Ansh traces the spiritual journey of Lakshman Das, who later became revered as Neem Karoli Baba. Set against the backdrop of Braj, the story follows Lakshman's search for answers after the death of his mother and his gradual journey towards spirituality and devotion.

His quest eventually becomes a deeper search for God, shaped by his devotion to Lord Hanuman and Lord Rama. As Lakshman grows older, he embraces the life of a wandering ascetic and spends years pursuing meditation, austerity and spiritual experiences.

The film also explores significant moments associated with his spiritual journey, including the well-known train incident that is believed to have played an important role in shaping his path.

Directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, Hanuman Ansh has continued to generate strong interest at the box office. The film is nearing the Rs 100 crore milestone within 30 days of its theatrical run, adding commercial success to the growing attention surrounding its spiritual theme.

Varun Dhawan's praise is likely to further boost interest in Hanuman Ansh, with the actor describing the film as an experience best shared with family and loved ones. His spontaneous recommendation has drawn attention to the film's devotional narrative and its journey towards the Rs 100 crore mark.
