Amitabh Bachchan’s Diwali firecracker memory became a highlight of the upcoming festive episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 18, featuring actors Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Ravie Dubey. A promotional video released on October 24 shows the Ramayana: Rise of a Legend cast joining the veteran actor for a light-hearted conversation ahead of the film’s theatrical release.
During the interaction, Ranbir asked Bachchan whether he remembered any particular Diwali celebrations from his childhood. The 84-year-old actor responded with a humorous recollection that left Ranbir, Sai and Ravie laughing.
“The only thing one remembered about Diwali was that if a firecracker went off at a neighbour’s place, ours had to be even louder,” Bachchan said, describing the playful competitive spirit that sometimes accompanied the festival.
The special episode brings together the cast of the much-anticipated mythological film and the host of one of Indian television’s longest-running quiz shows.
