Parvati from Hanuman Ansh has become a major hit on YouTube Music charts.

Parvati Hanuman Ansh has emerged as a major chart success, topping YouTube Music’s weekly songs chart in India and securing the No. 2 position globally. The Bundeli folk-inspired devotional track has expanded beyond the traditional devotional music audience, gaining significant traction across YouTube and social media.

According to YouTube Charts, Parvati recorded 47,266,182 views in India during the tracking period, placing it at No. 1 on the country’s weekly songs chart. Globally, Shakira and Burna Boy’s Dai Dai currently holds the top position, with Parvati following at No. 2.

The song has been sung, written and composed by Sadhu Tiwari. It has also crossed 100 million views across YouTube, while clips using the track have circulated widely on Instagram Reels and other social media platforms.

In India’s weekly chart, Shreya Ghoshal’s Kalyani currently occupies the second position, followed by Yeshanagula from The Paradise.

PM Modi’s appearance gives Parvati another spotlight

The song received another major boost when Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended a Bhajan Clubbing event in Delhi, where Sadhu Tiwari performed Parvati. The event was organised to mark the 110th birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya.

Videos from the event showed Modi clapping along with the audience and playing a khanjari during the performances. He later shared a video from the event on social media, describing the evening as “Bhajan Clubbing in Delhi. Spectacular!” Hanuman Ansh actor Shobhinaw Satya was also present.

Hanuman Ansh and its growing music impact

Directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, Hanuman Ansh follows Lakshmi Narayan, a young boy who embarks on a spiritual journey after a personal loss and eventually becomes Neem Karoli Baba. The film is inspired by Chaturvedi’s book Divine Detour: That Changed My Life and is planned as the first part of a trilogy.

Reportedly made on a budget of around Rs 2 crore, the film has grossed more than Rs 410 crore worldwide. Its success has helped its music reach a wider audience, with Parvati now establishing itself as a hit independently of the film.
