Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli recently attended a live kirtan by American devotional singer Krishna Das in Mumbai. Videos showing the couple enjoying the musical gathering have been widely shared on social media, attracting attention from fans.
In clips circulating online, the couple can be seen seated beside each other, gently swaying to the devotional music. At one point, they briefly glance towards the camera before turning their attention back to the performance.
Their relaxed presence at the event has drawn warm reactions from social media users, with many appreciating the couple’s interest in spiritual gatherings and devotional music.
Krishna Das Brings Kirtan to Mumbai
The event was part of Krishna Das’s India tour. The American vocalist is widely known for bringing traditional Indian devotional chanting to international audiences through a musical style that combines sacred chants with Western influences.
Kirtan is a devotional practice centred on singing spiritual songs and repeating sacred names, often accompanied by musical instruments. These gatherings provide participants with an opportunity to engage in collective chanting, reflection and meditation.
Krishna Das has built an international following through performances that introduce audiences to this form of devotional music.
The Couple’s Continued Interest in Spiritual Gatherings
This was not the first time Anushka and Virat had attended a Krishna Das gathering together. The couple also attended a service at Union Chapel in London in July 2026, according to the report.
They have previously been associated with spiritual events and are known for their interest in the teachings linked to Neem Karoli Baba. Their appearances at such gatherings have periodically attracted public attention.
Despite their high-profile careers, the couple generally maintain a relatively private approach to family life. They have also spent considerable time in London with their children, keeping many personal moments away from the spotlight.
The latest videos offer another glimpse into their shared interest in devotional music, while the Mumbai gathering has brought Krishna Das’s live kirtan back into conversations across social media.
