The Redmi K100 launch is scheduled for October 28 in China, where Xiaomi’s smartphone brand is preparing to introduce the standard model alongside the Redmi K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max, which debuted in August 2026.
Ahead of the launch, the upcoming smartphone has appeared on Geekbench under the model number Xiaomi M786BC. The listing reports scores of 2,705 in single-core and 9,885 in multi-core tests on Geekbench 7. It also indicates 16GB of RAM and Android 17, while Redmi has confirmed that the phone will run HyperOS 4.
The listing points towards the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, similar to the processor used in the previous-generation Redmi K90. The chip features two cores clocked at 4.32GHz and six cores running at 3.53GHz, paired with an Adreno 830 GPU.
An India launch date has not been confirmed. The availability of the Redmi K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max in India also remains unclear.
Redmi K100 Specifications and Display
Redmi has confirmed that the smartphone will feature a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 3,500 nits. The company says the high refresh rate supports more than 40 games, while a dedicated D2 display chip will handle additional gaming-related tasks.
The display specifications indicate that gaming performance and smooth visuals are among the device’s key selling points.
10,000mAh Battery Is the Main Highlight
The biggest highlight of the Redmi K100 is its 10,000mAh battery. The capacity exceeds the batteries found in the more expensive Redmi K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max, which pack 8,580mAh and 9,070mAh cells, respectively.
Other confirmed features include a 50-megapixel main camera, an in-display fingerprint sensor and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. The phone will be available in Firefly Green, alongside other colour options.
Pre-orders are already open in China ahead of the official announcement. Pricing has not been formally confirmed, although reports suggest a starting price of around 3,500 yuan, approximately ₹49,566.
