Rise & Fall 2 Karan Patel Tej Pratap Yadav exits have become the latest talking point from the reality show after both contestants left the competition within its first two weeks. Their departures came for different reasons, taking the total number of contestants who have exited the show to four.
Hosted by Virender Sehwag, Rise & Fall 2 began with a mix of actors, influencers and public figures. However, the early weeks have already witnessed multiple exits, including those of Siwet Tomar and social media influencer Anish Bhagat.
Karan Patel Leaves the Show on Medical Grounds
Actor Karan Patel reportedly exited Rise & Fall 2 because of health concerns. According to reports cited in the source material, Patel is diabetic and requires insulin at regular intervals along with several medicines.
The demanding schedule of the captive reality show was reportedly affecting his health. Patel had also been feeling unwell before his departure and underwent blood tests and other medical examinations. Following concerns over his medical reports, he was reportedly considered unfit to continue.
His exit reportedly took place between October 1 and 2. This is not the first time Patel has left a reality show because of health-related concerns. He had previously participated in The 50 but exited midway for medical reasons before later returning as a wild card contestant.
Contestants who voluntarily leave captive reality shows can reportedly face a ₹2 crore penalty under the show's contract. However, sources cited in the report said the penalty did not apply to Patel because his exit was linked to medical grounds.
Tej Pratap Yadav Exits Over Commitments
Politician Tej Pratap Yadav has also left the show, reportedly because of political and legal commitments.
Yadav had made an impression during his time on Rise & Fall 2 and became the first 'ultimate ruler' of the season. His lively personality also made him a noticeable presence among the contestants.
Despite his early involvement in the competition, Yadav reportedly chose to leave because of his outside commitments. Like Patel, he was reportedly allowed to exit without paying the ₹2 crore penalty associated with voluntary departures.
Two More Contestants Had Already Left
Before Patel and Yadav, Siwet Tomar became the first contestant to leave after a physical altercation with Shehzad Poonawalla. Tomar later discussed the incident on Instagram Live and made allegations about comments during their arguments.
Anish Bhagat was the second contestant to exit after receiving fewer votes. With four contestants now out, Rise & Fall 2 is preparing to introduce two wild card entries, adding new faces to a competition that has already seen a turbulent opening.
