Anupam Kher Bids Farewell to 2025 With Emotional Poem on Love and Hope

Veteran actor Anupam Kher marked the final day of 2025 by sharing an emotional poem centred on love, hope and renewal, offering a reflective farewell to the year through social media.

In a video shared from his home office, the actor recited heartfelt verses that spoke of light replacing darkness, happiness overcoming sorrow and relationships growing stronger. Kher revealed that the poem was sent to him by his close friend Satish Malhotra and said he felt compelled to share it as a blessing for everyone ahead of the new year.

The poem carried messages of emotional healing, optimism and unity, urging people to let go of grief and move forward with smiles, prosperity and enduring bonds. Through the verses, Kher conveyed a wish for peace, joy and emotional well-being to accompany the transition into 2026.

Alongside the video, Kher posted a reflective note on Instagram, describing how years do not truly end but instead settle quietly within people, turning experiences into understanding. He wrote that time does not change individuals but reveals them, and that a new year is not a fresh road, but a continuation of the same journey with greater awareness.

Calling it his “last day of the year thoughts,” the actor encouraged introspection as 2025 came to a close, while extending warm wishes for happiness, stability and personal growth in the year ahead.

Professionally, 2025 remained an active year for Anupam Kher. He appeared in multiple projects across genres, including the historical drama Emergency, the romantic film Tumko Meri Kasam, and the ensemble drama Metro In Dino. He was also seen in Tanvi the Great, a project he wrote, directed and produced, underlining his continued creative presence in Indian cinema.
