Celina Jaitly Misses Sons on Christmas Amid Divorce and Custody Battle

Actor Celina Jaitly has shared an emotional Christmas message, saying she has been kept away from her three sons amid an ongoing divorce and legal dispute with her estranged husband Peter Haag.

In a heartfelt post on social media, Jaitly accused Haag of blocking her access to their children, calling this Christmas the first she has spent without them. The actor has filed a 199-page petition seeking divorce and legal protection, detailing what she describes as prolonged emotional distress and denial of parental access.

“Love does not disappear when you are kept apart. It only aches louder,” Jaitly wrote, naming her sons Winston, Viraaj and Arthur. She said this was the first Christmas in over a decade that she was unable to see or speak to them, describing them as “the pieces of my heart.”

The actor went on to share memories of everyday moments she misses—cooking their favourite food, helping with studies, celebrating winter traditions and simply spending time together. She said the inability to even hear their voices during the holidays had left her deeply distressed.

According to her court filing, Jaitly has also sought relief under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005. The petition reportedly outlines allegations of emotional, physical, verbal and sexual abuse, and seeks protection as well as continued contact with her children. The law provides civil remedies including protection orders, residence rights and safeguards against further harm.

The actress’ legal action aims not only at ending the marriage but also at securing her parental rights and safety. The matter remains sub judice, and no public response has been issued by Peter Haag regarding the allegations so far.

Jaitly’s post has drawn widespread attention online, with many expressing support and concern over her separation from her children. The case continues to be closely watched due to the seriousness of the allegations and the emotional weight of her public statements.
