Gaming influencer Kaashvi Hiranandani has apologised to Love Gill following the backlash over her comments on Bigg Boss 20. Kaashvi, who is also gamer ScoutOP’s girlfriend, faced criticism after suggesting that Love had manipulated ScoutOP and created a situation that viewers interpreted as an attempt to influence their friendship.
During the show’s Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Kaashvi questioned the closeness between Love and ScoutOP. The remarks triggered debate on social media, with several viewers accusing her of unfairly targeting Love. Both Love and ScoutOP have maintained that their relationship is platonic and resembles a sibling-like bond.
Kaashvi Says Her Words Were Insensitive
Responding to the criticism in an Instagram statement, Kaashvi clarified that her intention was to hold ScoutOP accountable for what she believed were his mistakes, rather than pass judgement on Love’s character.
She acknowledged that some of her words were insensitive towards others involved and admitted that she could have expressed herself more carefully.
Kaashvi also said her emotions at the time did not justify judging another person’s intentions or character. According to her statement, social media discussions suggesting that Love was deliberately playing a strategy had influenced her thinking.
However, she accepted that she should have handled the situation differently.

Denies Encouraging Online Hate Against Love
Kaashvi denied intending to direct hate towards Love or encouraging people to target another woman. She recognised that her public comments carried weight and said she took responsibility for how they had been perceived.
She further acknowledged that it was not her place to tell Love how she should behave. Concluding her clarification, Kaashvi apologised to those who had been hurt by her remarks.
Meanwhile, reports suggest that the friendship between Love and ScoutOP may have been affected by the controversy, with Love reportedly avoiding interaction with the gamer following the allegations on the show.
Rohit Shetty Questions Their Equation
The controversy unfolded during a recent Weekend Ka Vaar episode hosted by filmmaker Rohit Shetty in place of Salman Khan. Shetty questioned ScoutOP and Love about their growing closeness and urged them to remain mindful of how their relationship was being portrayed and perceived on national television.
The episode has added another layer to the ongoing discussion around their friendship, while Kaashvi’s apology has brought renewed attention to the impact of reality television controversies and online commentary.
