Messi’s latest trophy takes his career silverware tally to 49, according to the figures cited in the report. Dani Alves follows with 43, while Marquinhos has 42 and Andres Iniesta 40.

Inter Miami currently sit second in the Eastern Conference with 45 points, nine behind leaders Nashville SC. The Campeones Cup victory adds another title to Messi’s increasingly successful spell in South Florida.
