Love & War: Alia Bhatt’s First Look Unveiled, Film Releases January 21, 2027

Alia Bhatt’s first look from Love & War has been unveiled, a day after Ranbir Kapoor’s character poster was released. Directed and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the film also stars Vicky Kaushal and is set to bring a grand period-style visual aesthetic to the screen.

In the poster, Alia is seen seated on a chair in a dramatic red-and-black ensemble, surrounded by an opulent red-and-gold setting. Her bold styling, striking headpiece and poised expression give the poster a distinctly retro and theatrical feel, reflecting Bhansali’s signature visual style.

The makers shared the poster on social media and announced the film’s worldwide release for January 21, 2027. Love & War will release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

Ranbir Kapoor’s first look, unveiled a day earlier, featured the actor in a vintage avatar behind the wheel of a turquoise convertible. His slicked-back hair, pencil moustache and round sunglasses added to the retro setting, while a bruised and bloodied arm hinted at a darker side to his character.

Love & War marks Ranbir Kapoor’s reunion with Bhansali after Saawariya, which was also Ranbir’s acting debut. The film brings together Ranbir, Alia and Vicky in a highly anticipated Bollywood project.
