Sunita Ahuja Breaks Silence on Govinda Rumours, Reveals 15-Year Separation

Bollywood actor Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, has publicly addressed circulating rumours about her marriage, providing clarity on long-standing family challenges. Speaking candidly on Sambhavna Seth’s vlog, Sunita revealed that she and Govinda have been living separately for the past 15 years but continue to maintain a connection through their children.

Sunita opened up about the familial obstacles she has faced, saying, “The problem is that there are people in his family who don’t want to see Govinda and me together. Today, I don’t have a friend circle; my children are my friends.” She acknowledged the emotional toll of persistent rumours while emphasizing her resilience: “Yes, I’m hurt because I hear the rumours too, but I stay strong because I have my children.”

Clarifying her stance on allegations regarding Govinda’s personal life, Sunita stated she would admit the truth if any misconduct were discovered but dismissed persistent gossip as baseless. “It’s very shameful. At this age, when your children have grown up… some people are used to lying, and they just keep lying again and again,” she said.

Sunita also commented on relationships within the film industry, cautioning against opportunistic behaviour. “Nowadays, some girls come into the film world with the mindset of finding a sugar daddy. Unless I catch them, it’s fine, but if I do, then remember, I have Sunny Deol’s 5 kg hand,” she quipped.

Despite their physical separation, the couple was recently seen celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi together, indicating a cordial relationship. Sunita also shared her perspective on Govinda’s professional choices, often advising him to select stronger scripts and expressing concern about external influences on his career.
