The makers of Border 2 on Tuesday released the first-look poster of Ahan Shetty, giving audiences a gripping glimpse into the young actor’s role in the high-octane military drama. The poster captures Ahan in the midst of a fierce battlefield moment—blood-streaked, alert and armed—symbolising the unwavering courage of India’s naval warriors.
The striking visual highlights the tension, sacrifice and determination that define the film’s narrative, setting the tone for what promises to be an emotionally charged and action-heavy tribute to India’s armed forces.
The poster was shared with the caption:
“Stronger than the waves. Fiercer than the storm. Border 2 in cinemas 23rd January 2026.”
Ahan’s reveal follows the widely appreciated first-look posters of Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh, who portray Indian Air Force officers. Each new character reveal has amplified the buzz around the film, which is positioned as one of 2026’s most awaited patriotic dramas.
Directed by Anurag Singh, Border 2 features a star ensemble including Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Medha Rana, Mona Singh and Sonam Bajwa. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, JP Dutta and Nidhi Dutta, and presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series in collaboration with J.P. Films.
Scheduled for release on January 23, 2026, just ahead of Republic Day weekend, the film aims to honour the bravery, grit and spirit of Indian soldiers while continuing the legacy of storytelling established by JP Dutta’s iconic Border.
The newly unveiled poster has further heightened anticipation, solidifying Border 2 as a major cinematic event to watch out for.
