CBSE Starts Month-Long Board Exam Support for Classes 10 and 12

The Central Board of Secondary Education has launched a month-long in-person academic support programme for students of Classes 10 and 12 in government schools ahead of the 2027 Board examinations.

The programme began on September 14 across 10 locations in Ladakh and is designed to strengthen students’ subject knowledge, practical understanding and examination preparedness.

For Class 10, the sessions focus on Mathematics and Science. Class 12 students will receive academic support in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Economics.

Along with subject preparation, the programme covers assessment strategies, examination techniques and time management. The aim is to help students address academic difficulties, improve confidence and approach the Board examinations more effectively.

The sessions are being conducted in Leh, Nubra A, Nubra B, Shams, Zanskar, Kargil, Drass, Changthang, Sankoo and Chiktan.

CBSE has nominated experienced teachers and resource persons from affiliated schools across the country to conduct the sessions. The month-long format is intended to give students sustained academic support before the examination season begins.

The programme comes as preparations for the 2027 Board examinations gather pace. CBSE is expected to announce the Class 10 and 12 examination date sheet, while registration for Classes 9 and 11 and submission of the List of Candidates for Classes 10 and 12 are also set to begin.

Schools have been advised to keep students’ personal information, subjects, photographs and signatures ready and verify the details carefully. The board has previously highlighted errors involving subject codes, student information and List of Candidates submissions.
