Tamil Nadu Board Releases Class 10 & 12 Exam Timetable 2026: Full SSLC and +2 Schedule Here

The Directorate of General Education, Tamil Nadu (TNDGE) has officially released the detailed timetable for the SSLC (Class 10) and Higher Secondary (+2) public examinations for the academic year 2025–26. With the announcement, lakhs of students across Tamil Nadu now have a clear exam roadmap for March and April 2026.

The complete subject-wise timetable is available on the board’s official website dge.tn.gov.in, enabling students to plan their preparation months in advance.

SSLC (Class 10) Exams from March 11 to April 6, 2026

The Tamil Nadu SSLC examinations will begin on March 11, 2026, and conclude on April 6, 2026, covering all major subjects under Part I to Part IV.

HSE (+1) Arrear Exams from March 3 to March 27, 2026

For Class 11 arrear students, TNDGE will conduct theory exams between March 3 and March 27, 2026, while practical exams are scheduled for February 16 to 21, 2026. Results will be released tentatively on May 20, 2026.

HSE (+2) Public Exams from March 2 to March 26, 2026

The Higher Secondary Second Year (Class 12) board exams will start on March 2, 2026, and finish on March 26, 2026.

Exam Timings and Instructions

All SSLC and HSE exams will follow a uniform schedule:

• 10:00–10:10 am – Reading question paper

• 10:10–10:15 am – Verification

• 10:15 am–1:15 pm – Writing time
