Freshly released documents linked to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein have reignited controversy surrounding Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, revealing that he sent photographs of his daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, to Epstein years after publicly claiming he had severed all ties with the disgraced financier. The emails are part of a massive tranche of Epstein-related records made public recently, adding new details to an already damaging chapter for the British royal family.
According to the newly disclosed emails, Andrew shared personal photographs of his daughters with Epstein in 2010, 2011, and 2012—well after Epstein’s 2008 conviction for procuring a minor for prostitution. The images reportedly included Princess Beatrice climbing Mont Blanc and Princess Eugenie participating in a charity bicycle ride, as well as holiday greeting cards featuring both sisters. At the time the images were sent, the princesses were in their early twenties.
One email, dated December 21, 2011, appears to have been sent from Andrew’s official email account and took the form of a festive greeting card. The card showed Beatrice and Eugenie together in a snowy setting, accompanied by a message wishing joy and happiness for the season and the year ahead. A similar message was included in a follow-up card sent in December 2012, which featured multiple images, including photographs of Andrew himself and his former wife Sarah Ferguson alongside images of his daughters.
The disclosures have drawn particular attention because Andrew had previously insisted that he cut off all contact with Epstein following the financier’s conviction. The emails directly contradict those assertions, intensifying scrutiny of his past statements and raising further questions about the nature and extent of their continued association.
Separate documents released alongside the emails also indicate that Epstein had arranged for a “beautiful, trustworthy” 26-year-old Russian woman to meet Andrew. Additional correspondence suggests that Andrew expressed enthusiasm about the proposed meeting, further complicating his repeated denials of inappropriate conduct. These revelations add to earlier reports that Andrew stayed at Epstein’s New York townhouse in late 2010, shortly after Epstein completed a period of house arrest.
The latest disclosures form part of millions of pages of material released by US authorities under new transparency requirements. The records span multiple investigations, court proceedings, and evidence collections connected to Epstein, his associates, and related cases. Among the materials are thousands of photographs, videos, and email exchanges that have brought renewed attention to high-profile figures named in Epstein’s contacts and communications.
For Andrew, the fallout has been severe and ongoing. He has already been stripped of his royal titles and patronages and has largely withdrawn from public life. The new emails are described by observers as another blow to his credibility, coming at a time when public and institutional tolerance for unanswered questions has significantly diminished.
The documents have also highlighted the broader ripple effects of the Epstein case, with several global figures named in correspondence or contact lists. While the appearance of a name in the records does not imply wrongdoing, the cumulative impact of the disclosures continues to fuel public debate and reputational damage.
Jeffrey Epstein died in a New York jail in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges involving minors. His longtime associate Ghislaine Maxwell is serving a lengthy prison sentence following her conviction for sex trafficking and related offences. The ongoing release of Epstein-related documents ensures that the scandal remains firmly in the global spotlight, with each new disclosure prompting renewed scrutiny of past associations and claims.
