More than 55 days have passed since the CBSE Class 10 Second Board Examination 2026 concluded, but lakhs of students are still awaiting their results.
With July already halfway over, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has yet to announce an official date or time for declaring the Class 10 Second Board Result 2026. The result is particularly significant as it marks the first implementation of the Board's Best-of-Two policy under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

The examinations were conducted between May 15 and May 21, 2026, making this the first academic session under CBSE's newly introduced dual-board examination system.

The 2026 academic session marks the first implementation of the two-board examination system introduced under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
Under the Best-of-Two policy, students who appeared in both board examinations will receive the higher score obtained in each subject as their final marks.
This allows candidates to improve their performance without losing marks scored in the earlier examination.
