NTA urges JEE Main 2027 applicants to verify their digital identity and Class 10 details before submitting the application form.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued an advisory for candidates applying for JEE Main 2027 Session 1, urging them to complete DigiLocker Re-KYC and verify their personal details before submitting the application form.

The agency has asked applicants to use their own digital identity credentials and ensure that their name and date of birth match the information recorded on their Class 10 certificate or marksheet. The guidelines aim to minimise discrepancies during registration, identity verification and subsequent examination procedures.

The online application process for JEE Main 2027 Session 1 is underway through the official examination website. The examination is scheduled to take place in two sessions, with Session 1 in January 2027 and Session 2 in April 2027.

Candidates Must Use Their Own Login Credentials

In its advisory, the NTA has instructed applicants to log in using their own DigiLocker, JanParichay or e-Pramaan (MeriPehchaan) credentials while completing the registration process.

Using personal accounts helps maintain consistency in identity verification and biometric data during later stages of the examination. Candidates should avoid using another person's login details to fill out or submit their application.

DigiLocker Re-KYC Recommended Before Applying

The NTA has advised candidates to complete Re-KYC through DigiLocker before filling out the JEE Main 2027 application form.

This step is intended to ensure that the latest available information is retrieved during registration. Applicants should verify their digital documents and complete the required authentication before proceeding with the application.

Completing these checks in advance may help candidates avoid errors that could complicate the registration or verification process.

Name and Date of Birth Must Match Class 10 Records

The agency has specifically highlighted the need to ensure that the candidate's name and date of birth match the details mentioned on their Class 10 certificate or marksheet.

Applicants should carefully check these fields before submitting the form. Any mismatch between academic records and application details could create difficulties during identity verification or subsequent examination procedures.

Where to Check JEE Main 2027 Updates

Candidates should review their documents, verify their login credentials and follow the latest instructions before submitting their applications.
