The IIM Ahmedabad summer placements process for the Post Graduate Programme (PGP) Class of 2028 moved forward with its second cluster on October 27, featuring more than 75 roles across nine industry cohorts.
The 2026–27 recruitment process was conducted in a hybrid format, allowing companies to participate both online and in person. This cluster included advertising and media, conglomerates, consumer goods, consumer services, fashion, financial platforms and services, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, real estate, and retail B2B and e-commerce.
The addition of fashion and real estate as dedicated cohorts expanded the range of industries represented in the institute’s summer recruitment process.
Major Recruiters Across Nine Industry Cohorts
Several prominent companies and business groups participated in Cluster 2.
The conglomerates cohort included Aditya Birla Group, Godrej Group, Mahindra Group, Tata Administrative Services, Vedanta Group, Essar Group, GMR Group, RPSG Group, CKA Birla and Saint-Gobain, among others.
Consumer goods recruiters included Hindustan Unilever, ITC, Nestlé, Procter & Gamble, Dabur, AB InBev, Berger Paints, Coca-Cola, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages, United Breweries, Wipro Consumer Care, Purplle and Dot & Key. Kwality Wall’s, Mars, Mondelez, Reckitt and Yum! also participated as new or returning recruiters.
Bloomberg, FinIQ and Indxx featured in financial platforms and services. Endemol Shine and JioStar represented advertising and media, while Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Emcure Pharmaceuticals, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, FDC Limited and Medtronic India participated in healthcare and pharmaceuticals.
Amazon and Myntra were among the recruiters in retail B2B and e-commerce, while Airtel represented consumer services.
Fashion and Real Estate Join the Process
Raymond participated in the newly introduced fashion cohort. Eden Landmarks and Experion Developers represented the real estate sector.
The next stage, Cluster 3, is scheduled for October 30, 2026.
The first cluster was conducted on October 23 and offered more than 85 roles across areas including consulting, investment banking, financial advisory and private equity.
