The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued an important notification for NEET PG 2025 candidates who wish to convert their nationality status from Indian to Non-Resident Indian (NRI) for Round 2 of the counselling process.
The committee has opened a short and strictly monitored submission window for document verification, clarifying that no applications will be accepted after the deadline.
Submission Window and Process
Candidates seeking NRI status must email all required documents in a single email to:

The submission timeline is as follows:

Start: December 1, 2025, at 11 am

Deadline: December 3, 2025, at 8 am
The MCC has stated that emails sent before or after this window, or multiple/partial submissions, will be automatically rejected.
Documents Required for NRI Status Conversion
Aspirants must submit the following:
1. NEET PG Documents

Admit Card

Scorecard
2. Proof of NRI Status of Parent/Relative (any one)

Valid Passport

Visa / Residence / Work Permit

OCI or PIO Card

NRI Certificate issued by Embassy/Consulate
3. Certificate of Relationship
A family tree certificate from the competent Revenue Authority proving the relationship between the candidate and the NRI sponsor.
4. Sponsorship Affidavit
A notarised affidavit from the NRI relative confirming they will fund the candidate’s entire education and living expenses, supported by:

5. Academic Records

Class 10 & 12 marksheets and certificates
6. Birth Certificate
7. Passport (optional)

Sponsor’s passport
