Global music sensation Bad Bunny has been confirmed as the headliner for the Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show on February 8, 2026, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. This marks the Puerto Rican artist’s second Super Bowl performance, following his guest appearance with Shakira and Jennifer Lopez in 2020.
Speaking about the announcement, Bad Bunny said, “What I’m feeling goes beyond me. It’s for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown – this is for my people, my culture, and our history. Ve y dile a tu abuela, que seremos el HALFTIME SHOW DEL SUPER BOWL.”
NFL’s Perspective
Jon Barker, NFL Senior VP of Global Event Production, highlighted the singer’s influence: “Bad Bunny represents the global energy and cultural vibrancy that define today’s music scene. As one of the most influential and streamed artists in the world, his ability to bridge genres, languages, and audiences makes him a natural fit for the Super Bowl halftime stage.”
The 2026 show will be presented by Apple Music, with Roc Nation and Jesse Collins serving as executive producers. Roc Nation founder Jay-Z praised Bad Bunny’s cultural impact, saying, “What Benito has done and continues to do for Puerto Rico is truly inspiring. We are honoured to have him on the world’s biggest stage.”
Recent Achievements
Bad Bunny comes off a record-breaking year, with his sixth solo album topping charts, a residency in Puerto Rico, and a global tour that has pushed Spanish-language music further into the mainstream than ever before.
With his mix of reggaeton, Latin trap, and crossover hits, Bad Bunny’s 2026 Super Bowl halftime show is expected to be a historic celebration of culture, music, and global influence.
